General Information & Admission

 

Daily admission for ID card holders and sponsored civilians is $2.  Admission applies even if you are not swimming. Kids 5 & under are admitted FREE! Pool passes are honored at both pools for the duration of the pass.  Please Note:  ID cards must be presented when using a pool pass.

Kids 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian.  Kids 11-13 may enter unaccompanied with a demonstrated ability to swim.  Kids 14 & older are not required to be accompanied.

 

Lap Swim is held at the North Pool and is for INDIVIDUAL LAP SWIM ONLY!  It is free to all military personnel. Units desiring to conduct PT at the pool can call in advance and schedule the West Pool (this service is free).   Unit/Group PT at the North Pool IS NOT AUTHORIZED!

Unit/SquardronTraining events must also be scheduled in advance with ODR and will be conducted at the West Pool.

POOL PASSES (May be purchased at Both Pools)

The family season pass is $70 for the first four members and $5 for each additional member. The family monthly pass is $35. The individual season pass is $40. The individual monthly pass is $20. Daily admission is $2 for military & sponsored civilians. 

SWIM LESSON IMFORMATION  (Sign up for Swim Lessons at the West Pool )

Who can participate? 

Persons physically able to learn swimming, 6 months or older with an ID card holding sponsor. Children not potty trained are required to wear swim diapers. Disposable diapers are not acceptable. Parents must ensure children wear a bathing suit and are ready for class 5 min prior to start time. Students should bring a towel or robe, sun screen (SPF 15 or above), and goggles if needed for all swim classes since these items are not provided. Prices are $45 per class and $40 for each additional family member or additional class.  All classes are held at the North Pool.  For details about skills learned during swim lessons and a review of the Red Cross standard for each level please view levels below.

NOTE:  IPAP is a class for infants assisted by a parent.  It is a basic introduction to the water.  The Adult level is for adults that do not know how to swim or need to improve their skills to feel comfortable in the water.

POOL PARTIES 

Reservations to reserve either pool can be made at either pool. Both pools are available for parties during the pool season for $45 per hour with a 2 hour minimumThe North Pool is available for parties on Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri from 8pm-12mid and on Sat and Sun from 7pm-12mid. Parties at the West Pool may begin at 7:00pm-12mid, Tues-Sun.  An additional fee of $20 per hour is added for parties over 100 people or those with over 80 people with alcohol.  NOTE: Groups desiring alcohol at their party must submit an approved letter of request in advance of the date of the party. This form must be submitted via the chain of command indicated.  Once approved the original must be presented to the Pool Manager at the West Pool. 

 

GENERAL POOL RULES

1. Infants not potty trained must wear swim diapers or cloth diapers with rubber pants while in the water.

2. Noodles & water wings are not permitted as they do not meet US Coast Guard Standards.

3. PATRONS MAY NOT BRING COOLERS, BASKETS, OR ANY PERSONAL FOOD ITEMS OR DRINKS INTO THE POOL AREA. There are snack bar facilities available. 

4. Only Coast Guard approved life vests are permitted and are available at both pools free of charge.

5. All minors must be supervised by an adult guardian (or person 16 yrs & older with Red Cross Babysitting Certificate) at all times while in the pool area.
Note: Minors 11-13 yrs with a demonstrated ability to swim will be allowed in the pool area without an adult.
