Airman Leadership School

FACTS & FIGURES:

Airman Leadership School (ALS) is designed to develop airmen into effective front-line supervisors.

It is the first professional military education (PME) that enlisted Air Force members encounter.

ALS focuses on developing leadership and Team Development abilities as well as effective communication.

• We run 7 classes per fiscal year and train approximately 350 SrA and Staff Sergeants annually.

• Training consists of 24 Academic duty days, totaling 192 hours of instruction.

• The curriculum consists of four blocks of instruction, that are designed to train Airman to be effective leaders  and supervisors.
  • The four blocks of instruction include:
  • Supervisor of Airman
  • Supervisory Communicator
  • Expeditionary Airman
  • Professional Airman
